Windows

Our standard galvanized windows are 24"x 24" sliders and

come with screens.  We can install windows almost anywhere on the building.

We can also install vinyl windows at $115.00 per window.

Other sizes and styles are available, just let us know what you want!

Doors

Standard doors have an opening of  48" x  77”.  These  doors are built to last a life-time, with steel plated joints and heavy steel hinges that are covered to prevent sagging.
Double doors are available on all sizes except for 8’ wide gambrel with 4’ walls.  Opening options are 6’ and 8’ wide.  We also install house doors with or without glass. Garage doors are available on 12’ and 14’ buildings.

Insulation

If your storage needs require insulation, we can insulate the entire building to create an efficient environment for heating or cooling.  With 24" O/C (On Center) framing, insulation can be easily installed later, if you prefer; however, the floor must be insulated during the construction process.

Gable Vent

In the normal situation, venting is sufficient at the eave or ridge of the building; however,  if you need more ventilation we can install whatever size or shape of vent you want, on the gable ends of the building.

Framing

Floors are constructed with 2 x 4 joists 16” O/C (On Center) standard;   12"O/C is available for heavier floor needs. Sheeting is ¾” plywood fastened with 2” staples.   Walls and roof are steel plated together and installed 24"o/c to a stud wall.  Trusses on gambrels are 2' O/C. On sheds trusses are 4' O/C with 2 x 4  purloins laid flat 24" apart.  This sturdy construction is guaranteed to carry the heaviest snow load and provide a lifetime of secure storage.

Siding

The biggest advantage we have over other buildings is our use of colored 29 Ga. metal siding over the entire exterior.  While the other storage buildings fade, peel, and rot ours just maintains itself.

Just think, no maintenance, period.

Site Preparation

Site preparation is important for best overall satisfaction of your storage building.  Because they are constructed on a level surface, the doors and windows may bind if your site is not level.

The best pad is a firm, gradual slope toward the front door, covered with gravel. Another option is concrete blocks at ground level spaced 6' apart.

The customer is also responsible for site access as well as all applicable permits and fee.
